Once Again TikTok blocked in Pakistan Learn why? - Today GD News

TikTok was once again banned across the country. Sindh High Court ordered PTA to immediately suspend the application.

Barrister Asad Ashfaq's petition against TikTok was heard in the Sindh High Court. The petitioner maintained that immoral and un-Islamic material was being kept on TikTok. He lodged a complaint with PTA but no action has been taken so far.

The Sindh High Court once again banned TikTok across the country and ordered PTE to immediately suspend the application.

The Sindh High Court issued notice to the Attorney General and other parties on the matter and sought a reply by July 8.

TikTok has been banned in Pakistan twice before. The court had directed to remove unethical content from the mobile application. However, on April 1, the apex court lifted the ban on TikTok and said that it should be banned. Ethical content should not be uploaded, PTA should create a system that can distinguish between good and bad.
