A case has been registered against the head of Twitter India - Today GD News

The conflict between the extremist and radical Indian government and the social app Twitter has intensified. A second lawsuit has been filed against Twitter in less than a month. A case has been registered against the head of Twitter India for not including Kashmir and Ladakh in the map of India.

In India, a case has been registered against Twitter chief Manish Maheshwari in the state of Uttar Pradesh. A few days ago, an FIR was registered against him for allegedly spreading false news. The latest case against the Twitter chief was registered by Parveen Bhatti, a leading activist of the extremist Hindu organization Bajrang Dal.

Officials say a map of the world posted on Twitter's career page showed the entire disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir, including Ladakh, as a separate independent state from India. However, after a strong reaction from the Indian government and the public, Twitter removed the controversial map from its website on June 28.

The US company Twitter and the Indian government have been at loggerheads for some time. The government had given all social media companies six months to implement the new IT regulations and inform the concerned authorities about it. Twitter did not respond to a request for comment until May 25
